Alejandra Coronel
Alejandra has over thirteen years experience providing administrative, financial and human resources support to private corporations (Bombardier, Aerospace) government institutions (Mexico’s National Bank) and non-profit cultural sectors in Mexico, Montreal, Vancouver and Regina.
Alejandra holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in management, certified by IQAS, (International Qualifications Assessment Service) in Canada. In addition she received an Excellence award and scholarship from the Telmex Fundation in Mexico during her studies. She also holds an Early Childhood Care and Education degree. Alejandra served as a volunteer in Montreal’s YMCA, supporting early childhood educators in programs for refugees that provided physical, emotional and social development for children. The programs’ focus was helping children integrate into the multicultural Canadian society. Their driving principle was “Tell me and I forget; teach me and I remember; involve me and I learn.”
Currently Alejandra acts as a financial and business administration assistant for SaskCulture Inc. and Creative Kids. She excels in building relationships. Her goal is to acquire the skills necessary for a position in which she can be a successful change agent into Canada’s cultural sector.
