Kathy is the Arts and Grants Consultant for the City of Saskatoon, a position she has held since 2013. She administers several cultural and sport grant programs and works with community on the implementation of the City of Saskatoon’s Culture Plan. Prior to her move to municipal government Kathy worked as the Dance, Music, and Theatre Consultant at the Saskatchewan Arts Board for nearly a decade.

Kathy has an extensive background in professional theatre. Highlights of her theatrical career include: ASM/Props/Rosaline for the acclaimed bilingual production of Romeo et Juliette for the Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival, SM for the world premiere of Z at 25th St. Theatre, Val in Fen at Greystone Theatre (in three separate productions), and Director/Producer of the Canadian premiere of The Beauty Queen of Leenane for the New Theatre Co-op. Kathy has a small visual arts practice that she revived with her latest career change. She took part in the first two iterations of Nuit Blanche in Saskatoon (2014, 2015) and held her first solo show at SCYAP Gallery in 2016.
