Robyn Adams
Robyn Adams is a multidisciplinary Métis artist from Treaty no.1 currently working in Indigenous relations at Festival du Voyageur.
Robyn’s making the whole festival more inclusive by educating staff and the public, hiring way more Indigenous artists and introducing visual arts into the festival. She's currently working on adding elements of ceremony into the workplace and changing systemic barriers so every part of the festival is more accessible.
Additionally Robyn is involved in Winnipeg’s music throughout the year. One of her projects includes ‘Field Trip Sessions’, a mobile recording and art studio inside of a renovated school bus. She has her BFA from the University of Manitoba and has additionally studied in Germany, Australia, and the US.
